Success stories

San Marcelo

Project involving an industrial building constructed in the 1980s in the Ventas neighbourhood of the Ciudad Lineal district in Madrid. The residential project targets the conversion of the building into 26 sustainable dwellings totalling over 2,000 m2 and with the highest energy rating (A).

The conversion process has led us to perform a lengthy analysis to determine the best fit in terms of units that will maximise rental income, with an eye towards a functional, attractive and up-to-date product at all times. Execution of the conversion process took less than 12 months.

Hermanos de Pablo

Project targeting the enhancement and repurposing of a residential building consisting of two blocks which originally consisted of nine dwellings and five establishments in the Quintana neighbourhood of Madrid’s Ciudad Lineal district.

The establishments were converted into dwellings, and, with the remaining buildability, two more storeys were added for a total of 24 dwellings with maximum energy ratings and sustainable quality standards.

Nadine

This project comprised eight buildings and a total of 80 dwellings located in the Cruz de Humilladero district of Málaga which were in a poor state of upkeep at the time of purchase. GavariAM targeted the renovation of the dwellings, the common areas of the buildings, the facilities and the utilities, among other features. This resulted in the creation of affordable and attractive residential rental properties whose interior and exterior renovation has contributed to the improvement and renewal of the surrounding area.

Coliving Carlos III

Project consisting of five buildings and 38 dwellings there were in a very poor state of upkeep and considerably underdeveloped. The project targets long-term residential occupancy of the assets, which are located opposite the Getafe campus of the Carlos III University of Madrid.

GavariAM undertook the complete refurbishment of the buildings with the goal of designing youth- oriented and functional housing for university students. The resulting dwellings, which make full use of available space for the living quarters, was warmly received in the student community, largely due to the dearth of qualified professional accommodation on offer.
